How Does a Personal Chef Service Work?

Prior to cooking for you, I personally meet with you to discuss your food preferences and dietary requirements.  I take the time to understand what you truly enjoy eating. Do you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies?  How many servings and how often do you require my service?  Which containers will we use?  I address all your concerns and I answer any questions that you may have.

The next step is to schedule a cook date. Based upon the information that I gather at our assessment meeting, I develop a customized menu for your approval. Some of my clients prefer gourmet fare while others prefer home-style cuisine. I’ll cook whatever you like!

I prepare your meals in the safety of your own kitchen. Health laws do not permit me to cook the food in my kitchen and then transport it to your home. We can make arrangements in advance so that my cook date fits into your schedule. You don't need to be home while I'm cooking, but if you prefer to be, it is fine. On our agreed upon cook date I bring all the ingredients, freshly bought by me that morning, along with my own pots, pans and utensils. As I will be preparing and cooking several different entrees and side dishes from scratch, it will take several hours. I will leave you with easy-to-follow heating and serving instructions for each dish. All you have to do is select your meals beforehand and then heat and enjoy them at your leisure.

I’ll leave your kitchen just as I found it.  The only evidence you’ll find that I’ve been at your home is the exquisitely prepared cuisine and its great aroma.
